Christmas Lighting Design & Installation
Target Animations was established in 1982, initially to supply animated features for use in Amusement parks and also to further the provision of animated models and displays for use in Christmas Grottoes, an area of business which already existed.
We moved into Christmas lights in 2001 when we started by manufacturing a new lighting scheme for Ipswich Borough council and also in that year managed the supply and decoration of the town’s 35ft Xmas tree.
We have installed the Ipswich Lights for many years, and subsequently have also designed and fitted lighting schemes for the Sailmakers centre in Ipswich, the Guineas (formally the Rookery) centre in Newmarket, and the Meridian centre in Havant.

We have full storage facilities where we can keep and repair the lights for our clients as required.

Clacton Factory Shopping Village has been a client for many years. We erect the lights in the Buttermarket Centre in Ipswich where the architecture of the building makes the job a little more challenging!
We have the lighting contract for Bury St Edmunds where and we are continuing to develop the scheme working with ‘Ourburystedmunds’ Bid. We have many other contracts working in East Anglia. We also have the contract for Arc shopping centre in Bury st Edmunds where we also install lights on their flagship unit which has a very large domed roof.
We are a family business
We only undertake work which we can fit in to our schedules, as we prefer to be on site when working.
We are fortunate that we do have a dedicated team of very able people whom we employ at Christmas and during the year for maintenance work and they take the job as seriously as we do.
We are also not too far away from our contracts which is a great benefit in making sure that any problems can be rectified speedily.
